‘Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’ to hit PH cinemas soon

Odex Private Limited announced on Friday that the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam film will soon hit theaters in the Philippines.

The trailer of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway film was posted via their official Facebook page with the caption ‘Coming soon’.

The film is also expected to be released in other countries in the Southeast Asia region.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway is the first in the three-part anime film series based on a series of novels created and written by Yoshiyuki Tomino. The series is set in U.C.105 or seven years after the end of the Second Neo Zeon War. It follows Hathaway Noa, who now goes by the name Mufti Nabiyy Erin, as he starts a terrorist group to stop the abuses of the Earth Federation.

The film became a trending topic among anime fans after some scenes in the film will feature the Philippines, particularly Davao.

The film is set to release July 23 in Japan.
