The official website for the franchise on Friday announced a brand-new television anime series for Hiroyuki Takei’s “Shaman King” manga.
The series is slated to premiere April 2021 and it will be based on all 35 volumes of the manga series, in which Kondansha will be releasing this June 17.
“Shaman King” is based on the 1998 manga series written by Hiroyuki Takei. It follows the adventures of Yoh Asakura as he dreams to become the “Shaman King”. To do this, he must win the Shaman Fight, a once-in-a-lifetime competition that will decide just who is the most powerful and worthy shaman in the world.
