Netflix’s Dragon’s Dogma anime unveils first trailer

Netflix unveiled on Tuesday the first trailer of upcoming Dragon’s Dogma anime series.

The series will be streamed worldwide starting September 17 on Netflix.

Dragon’s Dogma is based on the 2012 role playing open world game developed by Capcom. The series is directed by Shin’ya Sugai, who previously worked in CG Animation for 009 Re:Cyborg film and Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike. Sublimation animation studio will produce the series.

Netflix describes the series as follows:

“The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an ‘Arisen’. An action adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans.”
