“Hello World” anime film is coming to Netflix


Tomohiko Ito’s “Hello World” anime film is coming to Netflix next week.

It is set to start streaming on Netflix on Friday, September 11 according to the streaming site’s “Coming soon” section.


Hello World is an original anime film directed by Tomohiko Ito, who also worked on the first two seasons of Sword Art Online and Erased.

Netflix describes the series as follows:

A shy high schooler in Kyoto meets a man claiming to be his future self, who tells him he’s hacked into the past to save their first love.

It was released in local cinemas October 2019.
