“Rent-a-Girlfriend” is getting a second anime season, the official website and Twitter account for the series announced on Saturday.

Rent-A-Girlfriend is based on a romance comedy manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima.
The story follows college student Kazuya Kinoshita. After being dumped by his girlfriend for another guy, he enlists a dating service to “rent” a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara. Unbeknownst to him, she happens to be both a fellow student and his neighbor.
The first season aired during the Summer 2002 season.
