POP TV to stream Filipino-dubbed “Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma”

POP TV Philippines announced on Tuesday that it will stream popular anime series “Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma” on their video-on-demand service.

The series will be available starting on Wednesday, October 7 dubbed in Filipino.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma is a Japanese manga series written by Yuto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. It tells the story of Yukihira Soma, a teenager who dreamed of becoming a chef at their restaurant. But it all change when his father admitted him at Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute, an elite culinary school located in Tokyo

Apart from “Shokugeki no Soma”, the streaming site also teased some of their upcoming anime titles such as “My Hero Academia” and “How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?”

POP TV is described as a mass market Video-on-Demand service that offers users a wide variety of local language content at an affordable price. The POP TV app is available on Google Playstore and Apple App store.
