Odex announces tentative release schedule for “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train” in PH

Odex Private Limited announced on Thursday the tentative release schedule for “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train” movie in the Philippines.

“In the Philippines, cinemas are also closed due to the COVID pandemic. Similar to Indonesia, Odex will adjust the release schedule if we get an earlier date announcement. The Fan’s screening and the Japan Import Fan’s Screening will be happening January 2021 and the General Release will be happening on February 2021,” Odex said in a video.

The film will be released exclusively by SM Cinema.

The company also announced the tentative release date for other countries in the Southeast Asia region.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Train is based on the manga series Demon Slayer:Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge and it is the direct sequel to the anime series.

The film’s official website tells the story as follows:

Tanjiro and the group have completed their rehabilitation training at the Butterfly Mansion, and they arrive to their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared in a very short period of time.

Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join one of the most powerful swordsmen within the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, to face the demon aboard the Mugen Train on track to despair.
