“Code Geass: Z of The Recapture” anime project announced

A new Code geass anime project was announced during the live-stream event held last Saturday, December 5.

The anime series is titled “Code Geass: Z of the Recapture” and a sketch for the promotional image has been unveiled on the anime’s official website.

The staff of the new series was also announced. Yoshimitsu Oohashi, who previously worked on Amnesia, Galaxy Angel anime is the director of the new anime with Noboru Kimura as scriptwriter. Takahiro Kimura is returning as the character designer while Astrays is designing the Knightmare mecha. Sunrise is producing the series.

A mobile game titled “Code Geass: Genesic Re:CODE” was also announced. The game is set to release in Spring 2021.
