Netflix unveils new anime Moonrise, Onimusha and more during TUDUM Japan event

Netflix unveiled on Sunday during the TUDUM Japan livestream event its new series, which includes anime and live-action drama that will soon be released on the platform.

The event also served as an update including new trailers, images for its current line-up of anime titles and live-action drama.

Voice actress Fairouz Ai presented a trailer for anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure STONE OCEAN.

First concept artwork for the anime adaptation of the Baku Yumemakura’s novel, Onmyoji unveiled. Series premiere 2023.

Still scenes from Junji Ito anime anthology Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre unveiled. Additional cast members were also announced.

Trailer for new anime series Moonrise featuring the character design of Hiromu Arakawa released. Series premiere in 2024.

Hirotaka Adachi debut an artwork featuring Kento and his daemon, Anna from the new anime series My Daemon.

New series Make My Day announced its cast of Masaomi Yamahashi, Ayahi Takagaki, Kazuhiro Yamaji and Akio Otsuka. It also revealed some of the mechanical art that went into the show’s design.

The Way of the Househusband anime announced its return with a look at new stills from the series. Series premieres January 2023.

Lookism, the new animated series based on the popular Korean webtoon about a teenager who wakes up one day with a handsome face and perfect body, was announced. Series premieres November 4.

Actresses Rie Takahashi and Mikako Komatsu from anime adaption of the manga Romantic Killer presented their series about giving up the single life for dating, premiering later this year.

Legendary filmmaker Takashi Miike was announced as the chief director for the new anime series Onimusha, based on Capcom’s video game series of the same title. An artwork for protagonist Miyamoto Musashi, modeled after the late Japanese screen icon Toshiro Mifune was unveiled.
