Anime enthusiasts in the Philippines have a reason to be excited as Ani-One, a Youtube channel owned by Hong kong based company Medialink Group Limited, is launching a dedicated YouTube sub-channel, catering exclusively to Filipino anime fans in September 2023.
ANI-ONE Philippines is set to offer a diverse anime lineup, including some shows that will be available shortly after their Japanese TV broadcasts. Fans can look forward to popular series like “Code Geass,” “Millionaire Detective Balance UNLIMITED,” “Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest,” and “The Fruit of Evolution,” among others. These shows will come with Filipino subtitles, and plans are in place to introduce Filipino-dubbed versions in the future.
In addition to the imported anime content, ANI-ONE Philippines also has plans to produce local anime shows that will resonate with Filipino audiences, providing a unique connection to the anime world.
The official launch of ANI-ONE Philippines is scheduled for September 16th, 2023, during the “Best of Anime 2023: The Reunion” event at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
