Vista Cinemas, in partnership with Pioneer Films, hosted an advance screening of the Japanese live-action film As Long As We Both Shall Live on November 27 at Cinema 1 VIP Theater of Vista Mall Taguig. The film is based on the best-selling manga “My Happy Marriage” by Akumi Agitogi, which tells an epic tale of love and empowerment in the fictional Japan of the Meiji Era.

The film stars Ren Meguro, a member of the J-pop band Snow Man, as Kiyoka Kudo, a ruthless soldier who leads the Alien Force, a group of people with special abilities (inou) that protect the country from various disasters. Mio Imada, who also appeared in the live-action Tokyo Revengers series, plays Miyo Saimori, a young woman from a prestigious family who is born without the ability and is forced to marry Kiyoka as a political ploy.
