“I always wanted to come to see my fans here.” For halca, that desire had been building for years.

The SACRA Music artist had been aware of her Filipino fanbase long before any concert invitation arrived. Half-Filipino friends during her school days had made her curious about the country early on — where they grew up, what they ate.

That curiosity followed her into her career. Filipino viewers showed up consistently on her Instagram and YouTube livestreams. “Even during Instagram lives or YouTube lives, there would be a lot of people saying that they’re ‘Watching from the Philippines’, ‘I love you!'” she recalled.

Overseas events, she noted, offer her a degree of access she does not have at home — in Japan, walking the convention floor even with security is not permitted. Abroad, that changes. “The fans are able to see me, and I feel happy because there’s that ‘Oh, it’s halca!’ — that surprise makes me happy,” she said.

Food added another layer to the visit. halca said she makes it a point to eat local before concerts, building material for her MC segments on stage. In Manila, sinigang and sotanghon which she tried on consecutive days left enough of an impression that she was already thinking about a third serving. “I really, really enjoy it,” she said. “I’ll probably miss Filipino food when I go back to Japan.”

The JAM Concert at Cosplay Carnival 2026: Eternal Emerald finally gave halca that long-awaited opportunity. Held on March 28–29, 2026, at SMX Convention Center Manila, the event brought her to Philippine shores alongside fellow Japanese acts Who-ya Extended and Naomi Payton. “I was very happy because I felt like, ‘Oh, I finally get to come to the Philippines!'” she said. “I definitely hope to come back.”
