MNL48 officially opens the registration for young talented girls who want join the search for its Second Generation members on Thursday.
The requirements for the Second Generation audition were also released along with the mechanics. The applicants must be at least 15-20 years old, single and a resident of the Philippines. She must also not be under any artist/talent contractual agreement that would prohibit her from entering into a management contract with MNL48.
The registration process will run for a month, from January 31 to February 28, 2019 and like the last year’s audition, the Second Generation aspirants will register through the MNL48 Fan Club mobile App or the official website www.mnl48.ph.
After the registration and audition process, aspirants who will be chosen from the first stage will move on to the next stage of the audition process. Finalists will be announced on March 22, 2019.
The search was first announced during the girls’ guesting on ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime last January 19 and through the idol group’s social media pages.
The First Generation search garnered 4,134 applicants from the online registration and audition tour held in key cities nationwide. Following its success, MNL48 Second Generation search is expected to receive thousands of applications from talented girls around the country in the hopes to be part of the Philippines’ first idol group, MNL48.
