Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba sequel announced for 2021

The much awaited sequel to the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series has been announced to be released in 2021.

A new key visual and promotional video were also released.

The new anime will adapt the Entertainment District arc, which is the eight arc in the original manga, after Mugen Train.

The sequel will center on Tengen, the Sound Hashira, who is accompanied by Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. They are on a mission to Yoshiwara to help search for his missing wives who were investigating rumors of demons within the district.

The original voice cast will reprise their roles in the new anime. ufotable will still animate the series.
