Doraemon’s 40th film, “Doraemon : Nobitas New Dinosaur” will be screened at select SM Cinema branches starting February 19.
The film is set to be shown in select SM Cinema branches, which includes SM Bacoor, SM Baguio, SM Baliwag, SM Cabanatuan, SM CDO Downtown, SM Calamba, SM Clark, SM Iloilo, SM Marilao, SM Naga, SM Olongapo Central, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Taytay, SM Mindpro, SM Bacolod and SM Cauayan.
Doraemon : Nobitas New Dinosaur is a sequel to Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur 2006, which was released in March 2006 and a remake of a 1980 film of the same name. The film was originally scheduled to be released in Japan on March 6, 2020, but it was postponed to August 7 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The theater chain will also screen another Doraemon film, Stand by Me Doraemon 2 the next day.
