Aniplus Asia to simulcast “Magia Record” Season 2

Aniplus Asia announced on Saturday that it plans to air the upcoming second season of Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story.

Officially titled, Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story 2nd Season -Eve of Awakening-, the new spin-off for the popular Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series will premiere on July 31 as part of the channel’s Summer 2021 anime simulcast.

Magia Record is based on a Japanese role-playing mobile video game developed by f4samurai. It is a spin-off of the 2011 anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and features a new protagonist named Iroha Tamaki.

Aniplus Asia aired the first season last year.
