POPTV Philippines recently announced that it will stream the Filipino-dubbed version of the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen this September.
The streaming service has yet to announce the release date.
Jujutsu Kaisen is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. The series won the “Anime of the Year” award at the 5th Crunchyroll Anime Awards held last February 20, 2021.
The story of the series is describe as follows:
With his days numbered, high schooler Yuji decides to hunt down and consume the remaining 19 fingers of a deadly curse so it can die with him.
In 2020, Medialink acquired the license of the series and streamed it via Ani-One VOD platforms including iQIYI. Netflix is also streaming the series.
POP TV is described as a mass market Video-on-Demand service that offers users a wide variety of local language content at an affordable price. POP TV can be accessed via www.poptv.ph. Its mobile app is available via Google Playstore and Apple App store
Anime titles such as “Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma”, “Sing “Yesterday” For Me” and “Horimiya” are currently streaming on the site.
