Japanese global boy group ONE OR EIGHT expressed interest in a possible performance collaboration with Filipino boy group VXON during their first visit to the Philippines. The group also discussed its previous collaboration with SB19 member FELIP.
During a press conference on October 23 at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier, member Mizuki mentioned SB19 and VXON when asked which Filipino and Asian artists the group would like to collaborate with.
He also expressed interest in a possible performance collaboration with VXON, involving either a Japanese or English song.
“Personally, [we hope] we will be able to collaborate in a performance with VXON with a Japanese song, or the other way around, which ONE OR EIGHT can perform the English song and perform that with VXON, that would be a good possibility moving forward,” Mizuki said.
ONE OR EIGHT previously collaborated with SB19 member FELIP on the track “KAWASAKI.” Neo described FELIP as a “great rapper, great artist” and said the group was honored to have him on the track.
The group also shared its impressions of Filipino fans ahead of its first Manila performance. Neo said they had heard positive things about local audiences, particularly their enthusiasm and energy.
“They’re really enthusiastic, they really had good energy, and they love to sing,” he said.
Meanwhile, member Reia thanked Filipino fans for coming to see the group and said they hoped audiences would be happy with their decision to watch ONE OR EIGHT.
The group made its Philippine performance debut on October 23 as part of the ONE OR EIGHT Special SHOW CASE 2026 in Asia -V8-.
ONE OR EIGHT debuted in August 2024 and released its first EP, EN-GÏNE, in September 2026.
