Netflix to premiere “Komi Can’t Communicate” on Oct. 21

Netflix recently announced that it will stream the upcoming anime series Komi Can’t Communicate this October.

The series will premiere on October 21, streaming new episodes every week. It will air on October 6 in Japan.

The anime’s main trailer is now streaming on Netflix Anime Youtube channel.

Komi Can’t Communicate is based on the popular comedy romance manga series by Oda Tomohito.

Netflix describes the series as follows:

At a high school full of unique characters, Tadano helps his shy and unsociable classmate Komi reach her goal of making friends with 100 people.

The anime production is headed by Ayumu Watanabe who previously work on Mysterious Girlfriend X and Children of the Sea. Kazuki Kawagoe will be directing the series with Atsuko Nakajima in charge of the character design. Deko Akao will handle scripts. OLM will be producing the series.

The cast members includes Aoi Koga as Shouko Komi, Gakuto Kajiwara as Hitohito Tadano and Rie Murakawa as Najimi Osana.
