“Super Crooks” anime is coming to Netflix Nov. 25

Netflix announced its plan to release the anime series Super Crooks on its streaming site on November 25 worldwide.

The announcement was made during the TUDUM online fan event last Saturday, September 25.

Super Crooks is based on the comic book series of the same name by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu.

The anime series is directed by Motonobu Hori with Takashi Mitani as the character designer. The two previously worked on the other Netflix anime series Carole and Tuesday. Dai Sato is the series composer and Stanislas Brunet is the concept designer.

The cast members include Kenjiro Tsuda as Johnny Bolt and Maaya Sakamoto as Kasey.

Studio Bones will be producing the series.

In this anime adaptation, small-time crook Johnny Bolt recruits the ultimate crew for one last heist -- for real! From comic book legend, Mark Millar, this super-powered heist story about eight super-villains is jam-packed with action and told in 13x30-minute episodes lushly produced by Bones.
