Furthermore, this is the first time that the company will upload an anime series in 1080p quality on Youtube.

“Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” is an original anime television series produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai. It premiered in 2011 in Japan.

It has inspired a manga series of 3 chapters in 2012, a film sequel in 2013, and a live-action drama special in 2015.

Muse Asia describes the series as follows:

One day, Jintan (Jinta Yadomi), a teenage shut-in, suddenly finds himself face-to-face with his childhood friend, Menma (Meiko Honma). After struggling with Menma’s request to have her (unknown) wish granted, Jintan meets with his former friends. Soon, she recalls that the dream was to have their friends all together again.
