ABS-CBN announced that its pay television channel “Kapamilya Channel” will air the live-action film adaptation of Naoshi Arakawa’s manga series “Your Lie in April” this Holy Week.
The film, dubbed in Filipino will premiere on Black Saturday, April 16 at 11:00 AM.
Your Lie on April is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa. It is a story of a genius pianist, Kousei Arima who loses his ability to play the piano after his mother’s sudden death. But, then he meets one violinist by the name of Kaori Miyazono. This carefree, independent, and sometimes short-tempered girl had an eccentric playing style that immediately fascinated Kousei. His once monotonous life was about to change forever.
The film opened in Philippine cinemas in 2016.
