The WCS Philippines committee has announced its representatives for the prestigious World Cosplay Summit (WCS) competition. The selection was held during Ozine Fest Wildcard at Ayala Malls The 30th and it saw some of the best cosplayers battling it out for a chance to represent the country on the world stage.
After a tough selection process, Team MD from Southern Mindanao and Team Kogeki from Luzon emerged victorious. Team MD will represent the country in the WCS 2023 while Team Kogeki will be the country’s representative for 2024 competition.
The World Cosplay Summit is an annual event held in Nagoya, Japan that brings together cosplayers from around the world to showcase their costumes and performance skills. Cosplayers compete in teams of two, representing their country, and showcase their elaborate costumes portraying various pop culture characters.
