TOYCON PH unveils lineup of Idol Performers for its 20th Anniversary

TOYCON PH, the premier pop culture event in the Philippines, is all set to celebrate its highly anticipated 20th anniversary from July 7-9, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Today, the organizers have revealed its lineup of idol performers who will take the stage during the event.

One of the standout acts in the lineup is Chicken Blow The Idol, a group renowned for their unique concept of shy and timid girls blossoming into powerful idols on stage. Known for their energetic rock-infused sound and distinctive “chicken blow” motif, the group has overcome stage fright and developed a resilient mindset. Fans eagerly await their highly anticipated solo concert at Zepp Shinjuku on September 26, 2023, expected to attract 1,500 enthusiastic supporters.

Himegotozettaichi, another captivating act, celebrates over six years of performing together and looks forward to sharing this significant milestone with their fans. Embracing the concept of “Kimi no Live Idol” (Your Live Performance Idol), Himegotozettaichi aims to forge an unwavering connection with their audience through heartfelt live performances.

Pastel Mix is an aspiring idol group from Davao City. Under the banner of Ambox Events, Pastel Mix covers songs from various Jpop idol groups, including popular acts like Walkure, Love Live, Angerme, and AKB48, among others. Starting as “Nyan Nyan” in 2008, the group later rebranded themselves as “Pastel Mix” in 2010, expanding their member count and musical repertoire. They have been actively participating in cosplay events and gained nationwide recognition following their performance at the “Manila Idol Matsuri” in 2018.

ToBeRadical, a talented six-member male dance and vocal unit from Japan, is set to grace the stage at TOYCON PH 2023. Also known as “Tobira,” they aspire to pioneer the expansion of Japanese men’s groups globally, opening new doors for Asian artists. Led by Eto, they have captivated audiences with their captivating Jpop-themed performances in Tokyo and beyond for the past three years. The group has made a mark in Thailand and performed at renowned venues like KT Zepp, 1000club, and the ALTA Key Studio.
