Japanese actor and model Kentaro Sakaguchi is set to meet Filipino fans for the first time in an exclusive event as part of his 2025 Asia Tour. The fan meeting is scheduled for May 17 at the SM Skydome.
Sakaguchi, widely known for his breakthrough roles in Heroine Shikkaku and Ore Monogatari!! (2015), has since become a prominent name in Japanese entertainment. He earned early acclaim with a Best New Actor award at the 11th Osaka Cinema Festival and was later named Newcomer of the Year at the 40th Japan Academy Film Prize for his role in 64: Parts 1 and 2 (2016).
Over the years, he has built a solid filmography that includes The 100th Love with You (2017), We Made a Beautiful Bouquet (2021), and the drama series Signal (2018). Most recently, he made his Korean drama debut in 2024’s What Comes After Love, a role that won him both the Best Actor Award and Asia Star Award at the 2024 Asia Artist Awards.
Filipino audiences last saw Sakaguchi at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards in Bulacan, where he received the Best Artist Award (Actor) and Asia Celebrity Award.
The Manila fan meeting will offer fans a chance to engage with Sakaguchi in a more personal setting. Event perks include photo opportunities, hi-bye sessions, signed posters, and exclusive photocards.
Pre-sale tickets for the Kentaro Sakaguchi fan meet will be available from April 13, 2025 at 12:00 NN (GMT+8) until April 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM (GMT+8) via wishusluck.helixpay.ph. General ticket sales start May 2, 2025 at 12:00 NN through smtickets.com and all SM Tickets outlets nationwide.
