The Pinoy Otaku Festival returns this May to celebrate its 10th year as one of the country’s most vibrant anime and Japanese pop culture events. Set for May 1-4 at Robinsons Novaliches Trade Hall, the 2025 edition promises its biggest celebration yet, spotlighting Filipino talent and fandom.
Organized by Red Cloud Interactive in partnership with Robinsons Novaliches, the festival marks its milestone anniversary with a packed lineup of activities, competitions, and performances designed for anime, manga, cosplay, and gaming enthusiasts.
A highlight of the event is the Cosplay Competition Extravaganza, which showcases detailed costume designs and performances by Filipino cosplayers. The festival also features trading card game tournaments in partnership with Toy Shogun, video game contests, and a Gaming Gauntlet for free-play sessions and showdowns.
Fans can explore dedicated spaces for anime and manga, including screenings and merchandise booths. The Artist Alley will host independent Filipino artists offering original works and handcrafted items.
This year’s guests include top cosplayers and performers such as Zhia, Sowon, Meewo, Mirai, Ivy! Musume, Korin, Sheartato, Choji TV, and Aspire. Expect meet-and-greet sessions, musical performances, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops covering cosplay, manga art, and more.
Pinoy Otaku Festival 2025 is co-presented by Ani-One Philippines, XPasm Studios, Toy Shogun, and Printing King, with support from AMBOX Events, Arterion Philippines, Shoryu Fighting Games, and several cosplay communities.
