UNIQLO is set to release a UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection on May 5, 2025, to mark the 45th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. The collection will be available in all UNIQLO stores and through the UNIQLO Philippines online store.
The lineup includes four men’s T-shirt designs, priced at PHP 790. The designs feature artwork from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It also includes exclusive illustrations by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, known for his work on the original Gundam designs.
Coinciding with the release, UNIQLO is launching a UT original augmented reality (AR) project that enables users worldwide to view a virtual Gundam based on the anime’s first episode, Gundam Rising. In Japan, shoppers near seven UNIQLO stores will also have access to an AR experience displaying a life-size Gundam model.

In addition, UT magazine 2025 SPRING SUMMER Vol. 12 includes an interview with Okawara, where he discusses his contributions to anime and his work on Gundam.
