SM North EDSA is hosting a large-scale “Jujutsu Kaisen” pop-up as part of Animezing North Year 5. Running from May 9 to 28 at The Block Atrium, the event is the first of its kind in the Philippines and highlights the popular anime and manga series created by Gege Akutami.
The three-week installation includes themed activities and displays inspired by the “Jujutsu Kaisen” universe. Organized in collaboration with Medialink and AniOne Philippines, the pop-up features character installations and zones designed to resemble key locations from the series.
Attendees can browse official licensed merchandise and apparel, take photos at designated spots, and visit interactive zones and inflatables featuring characters such as Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo, and Megumi Fushiguro. Life-size standees and activity areas are also available.
This event is among the few local pop-ups centered on a single anime title. It reflects ongoing efforts to bring Japanese pop culture experiences to a broader audience in the Philippines.
Since its debut, “Jujutsu Kaisen” has gained international recognition for its action sequences, character development, and supernatural themes, contributing to its popularity across various media platforms.
Now in its fifth year, Animezing North is part of the SM Fandom Series, which features anime-related activities and fan events.
The “Jujutsu Kaisen” pop-up is open until May 28. For more information, visit SM North EDSA’s official social media pages or www.smsupermalls.com.
