“Tokyo Ghoul” Live-Action Film gets release in 23 Countries and Regions

Distributor Shochiku announced during the kick-off event for the upcoming Tokyo Ghoul live-action film on Friday that the film is scheduled to be released in 23 regions and countries in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

The list includes the US, Canada, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, China, New Zealand, Australia and The Philippines.

It was also announced that RADWIMPS lead vocalist Yojiro Noda’s solo project, Illion, will be providing the film’s theme song titled “BANKA”. Don Davis from the Matrix Series will be composing the music soundtrack while Hollywood’s Nicholas Becker will be in-charge of Kagune’s sound and Quinque’s CCG weapon.

Tokyo Ghoul film opens in Japanese theaters on July 29, 2017.
