Singapore-based movie distributor Odex Private Limited has announced on Thursday that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable live-action film is set to release in key countries in Southeast Asia.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable will be screened in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Odex Private Limited has yet to announce the release date of film.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable is based on the manga series of thes same name by Hirohiko Araki, which was published from 1992 to 1995 in Japanese manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump.
Anime News Network describes the series as follows: It is set in Morioh, located in S City in M Prefecture of Japan, and it follows the misadventures of Jōsuke Higashikata and his companions, as they are involved in a series of bizarre incidents in their town. An anime adaptation of the series is currently airing in Animax.
The film will open in Japanese cinemas on August 4, 2017.
Odex Private Limited earlier announced the release of The Irregular at Magic High School The Movie: The Girl Who Calls the Stars and Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution in the Southeast Asia region.
