The story of Shinobi no Kun revolved around Iga Province’s renowned but lazy shinobi Mumon. One day, Mumon kills a shinobi from a different family for a reward. He is unaware that his actions will ultimately lead to a deadly battle between Nobunaga Oda’s army and the shinobi of the Iga Province.

The movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Ryo Wada in 2008. The novel was adapted to a manga series, which was serialized by Gessan from May 12, 2009 to February 12, 2011.

The movie is distributed by Odex Private Limited.
