Filipino-dubbed movie channel Tagalized Movie Channel (TMC) announced on Tuesday that they will be airing three Tagalog-dubbed Japanese films this September.

First of the three films is “If Cats Disappeared from the World” (Sekai kara neko ga kietanara) starring Japanese superstar Takeru Satoh in the lead role. It tells the story of a dying postman who strikes a deal with the devil. Every time he allows the devil to erase something from the face of the earth, he will get to live another day. But those that are being taken away are associated with the people dear to him.

Another Satoh film, “Bakuman” will be shown in TMC as well. The film portrays the struggles of two highschool friends who follow their dream of becoming successful manga creators.

Last but not the least is the film “The Sadako vs. Kayako” which features the two iconic horror characters of Japan. The story revolves around a university student, who plays a cursed video and unleashes the evil within, and a high school student who enters the cursed house where people have gone missing.

The three Filipino-dubbed films were first shown during Eiga Sai – Japanese Film Festival held last July 2017. They will premiere at TMC on September 2. “If Cats Disappeared From the World” will be showing at 6pm, followed by “Bakuman” at 8pm and later with “Sadako vs Kayako” at 10 Pm.

TMC is available on Sky Cable Ch. 80 and Destiny Ch 74.
