Live action films Ajin Demi-Human and Death Note: Light Up the New World are coming to Netflix this August

The films are set to start streaming on Netflix on August 7 according to the streaming site’s “Coming soon” section.

Ajin Demi-Human is based on Gamon Sakurai’s sci-fi action manga series. Katsuhiro Motohira directed the film with cast members as follows: Takeru Satoh as protagonist Kei Nagai, Gou Ayano as the main antagonist Sato and Yuu Shirota as Koji Tanaka. The film was screened in the Philippines in 2018.

Death Note: Light Up the New World is based on the best-selling supernatural action manga series of the same name written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. It was screened locally in 2017
