The partnership, which was officially signed at Archcon 2023 held in Cebu will involve regular guest appearances of MNL48 members at WCS events, as well as joint production of idol-themed shows. The two entities will also cross-promote and market their events and projects to reach a wider audience.

The collaboration between MNL48 and WCS Philippines is expected to redefine entertainment experiences, as both groups have a strong following and influence in their respective fields. MNL48 is composed of 48 talented and charismatic girls who perform catchy pop songs and dance routines, while WCS Philippines is responsible for selecting and sending the Philippine representatives to the World Cosplay Summit, an annual international cosplay event held in Japan.
