TOYCON celebrates 21st year with an “Evolution”

The Philippine Toys, Hobbies, and Collectibles Convention, known as TOYCON PH, is celebrating its 21st year this weekend, from June 14-16, at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

For its 2024 edition, “TOYCON Evolution” focuses on the evolution of toys and the experience of creative play, continuing to captivate enthusiasts of all ages. It remains a hub where fans, collectors, creators, and industry professionals converge to celebrate the past, present, and future of playthings.

TOYCON Evolution will feature a diverse range of exhibits and activities, including exclusive toy product reveals, performances by international pop idols, panel discussions with industry experts, toy design workshops, interactive gaming and tabletop tournaments, cosplay events, and a marketplace for rare and exclusive collectibles.

Other highlights also include live performances by JPOP singer-songwriter Krage and renowned voice actress and idol Ai Negeshi. Additionally, local idol groups Pastel Mix and Day Night Explorers will take the stage. International performers Bugvel, Chicken Blow The Idol, Kuroguro, and Tenohira El will also entertain attendees, adding to the musical lineup.

Tickets are now on sale at SM Tickets. A Day Pass cost at P500, while a 3-Day Pass is priced at P1,300. A Kids Pass for children aged three to 12 is priced at P200. Toddlers below three feet enter for free.
